Complete Home Renovation in Menlo Park
An outdated house opened up, brought fully to code and finished with a waterfall-island kitchen and a Trex deck.
The project
What we did.
Walls came out for an open plan, and the house was rewired from knob-and-tube, re-piped in copper and given a new sewer line, HVAC and roof. Lead paint and asbestos were abated. It now has hardwood throughout, a spa-style bath, a dream kitchen, new skylights and windows, and a Trex deck.
Reconfigured walls so the living, dining and kitchen areas flow together in natural light.
Knob-and-tube wiring replaced, galvanized pipes swapped for copper, the cast-iron sewer line upgraded, and lead paint and asbestos removed.
Two walls removed; custom cabinets, full-slab quartz, a waterfall island with sink and top-of-the-line appliances.
Custom walk-in shower with a built-in bench, floating vanity and modern fixtures.
New skylights, windows, a sliding door and a bay window opening onto a new composite Trex deck.
New HVAC, new drywall and paint throughout, hardwood floors, an electric fireplace and a new roof.
